This is my first "real" quilt. I mean that I actually pieced the top, sandwiched, basted, then machine quilted. Babies love to look at bright contrasting colors. He is a new surprise to my 45 year old friendn husband and their 9 year old quads. He as conceived while the boys were taking a nap while the family was vacationed at the beach last summer. Thus the sea animals. And I wanted to use the silky binding because they just feel so good. :)

This is the first quilt I will be giving away. I hope it doesn't fall apart!

It is beautiful. I can tell a lot of thought went into this quilt. I'm betting they will love it. Great job.

The picture doesn't show the colors very well. I'll post another picture tomorrow.

The other quilts I have done were raggy quilts that yoiu quilt as you go.

You did a great job and you are so thoughtful. If you used a machine, it shouldn't fall apart.

Very nice work and love your colors. I like that you shared the story related to your choice of fabrics-too funny.
