OK, so thisis my first time posting a picture as well, so I hope it comes out ok!

This is the first quilt I have ever made, and what an adventure it has been! I am now best friends with my thread ripper!

I am very pleased with this. I appliqued and designed all the pictures myself, I am part Native American so I wanted to make something that would show how proud I am of my heritage, but living in the UK I have probably mixed up my designs something rotten! Never mind, I like it.

Also it is not as wrinkly as that picture makes it look. The picture was taken outside in the garden as we don't have enough room in the house (It's a king size, I think I was a bit too ambitious  ). I had to take the photo from an upstairs window while someone held it up for me, it was too big for the grass! The wrinkles are actually shadows from the trees!

Let me know what you think! I would adore any feedback including constructive criticism, this is my first so I am happy to learn. :D

Oh my gosh - that is great. My first quilt was just squares - and not very good ones at that :)

Very nice! My applique skills are less to be desired, so I'm very impressed with yours.

Welcome, and what a great quilt. I would think you gained a great deal of confidence now. I'm afraid I have nothing to offer, since my applique skills are quite limited. But if you can tackle a project that big for your first quilt, you can do anything.

I'm really impressed, especially for a first quilt! You were extremely ambitious to do applique, new designs, and a huge quilt...wow! It's "brilliant", as they say in the UK.
