    Default My first ever win.
    What a shock! At our Christmas party yesterday, we had a President's challenge contest. There were three prizes for large and three for small quilts. I won first prize in the large category. The challenge was to find a paint chip that started with the first initial of our first name and then use that color in a quilt. I found a blue and also a gold chip. The pattern is from the book Bella Bella Quilts by Nora McMeeking. I have never won anything in the past. My quilt is machine pieced, mostly paper pieced and hand quilted.

    WoW! That is just breathtaking... what an incredible job. Thanks for sharing it, I needed some inspiration to get my mojo flowing. Just incredible.
