My first ever Y seam

Default My first ever Y seam

I think it turned out pretty good and will be seen from the back of a galloping horse. My monitor doesn't show the color correctly but its a dark blue and natural canvas. This is one part of 6 8 point stars.

That looks very nice. I have trouble with Y seams. I avoid them. I think you did an awesome job.

That looks great!!! Looking at the white block - on the L side - make sure it gets all the way to the edge. This will help you as you sew your blocks together. I know I had to make sure I pinned both ends til i got the hang of it...

looks great - they're really not that hard.
