My first free motion quilt!

Thanks to everyone who offered their suggestions and links on how to free motion quilt! I finally got the nerve to try it and love the results. I only used a meandering pattern but plan on trying again and fine tuning my skills. I hope the pictures show the quilting details!

Beautiful job!! How long did you practice before you took the big jump? I have the hardest time getting the tension right. Thanks for the inspiration :)

I have to admit, I practiced for about an hour or two - I have many placemat sized practice quilts, which I cut and placed between my pots! Luckily I had no problems with the tension. Thank you.
