Ok, for those of you who have been waiting patiently (or NOT  ) here it is. I finished it last night, and must say, I am really pleased with it. The border and separator fabric has gold accents that sparkle, as do a few of the braid fabrics, so in real life it kinda "shines". Mom said she thought it resembled a church window. I had fun making it, I'm definitely hooked!

Oh baby, that is pretty!! It must have been a blast picking out the colors. The blue accents are perfect!! How will you quilt it?
I've only done table runners and found it tricky to trim the sides so everything was square--looks like yours is perfect!!
Thanks for showing us! (FINALLY!)

LOL, it may seem like forever, but remember, the class was just last Sunday (a week ago), and in between I've had to work, plus I was sick a couple of days. But it went together pretty fast. I didn't have any trouble with squaring it up, it just did it itself.
The blue is actually a really deep, eat-it-with-a-spoon teal marble. I liked it so much I went back and bought the rest of the bolt!
I have given up wrestling with big quilts, so I'll send it out to quilt. I think it just needs some SITD, because I don't want anything to detract from the braid pattern. But I'll discuss it with the LAQ'r.
Thanks for the compliment!! :P :P
