Thread: My first hand dying experience

    Well, I had been thinking about doing some of my own hand dyed fabrics and I had the supplies for quite a while.

    I was a little scared to try it but this past weekend I dove right in and these pics show the results.

    I used a fuschia Procion MX dye and I was trying to get a more distinct gradiation of the fat quarters. It didn't happen quite the way I had planned, but all in all, I think I like how they turned out.

    What do you think?

    I love it. Now, make another one, mixing that same pink with some blue and send it my way...Just kidding!! It turned out real cute.

    those look cool! i've been wanting to try that but haven't bought anything to do it with yet. maybe i'll give it a try.
