Default Quilt for Co-worker's Granddaughter

A co-worker of mine has a grandbaby that is 2 yrs old but looks like she is 9 months old. I don't know what disease the baby was afflicted with but she is in need of a pancreas transplant. When my son passed away, I had his tissue donated because his organs were too far gone. Because of the tissue transplants and cornea transplants, my son has helped 80 people nationwide and as far as the Netherlands. This is why I decided to make a quilt for Gabriela. I am giving it to Gloria (co-worker) tomorrow when she comes to the office to pick up her check. I know she will be very surprised.

Thanks for looking.

Monique

The quilt is a wonderful surprise gift. A big thank you for helping 80+ people from your son's tissue donation. Improving the lives of so many.

How nice of you to do this for her. Hope things go well for this little angel. How nice that your son helped so many people. We all need to do this for others.

The quilt is gorgeous; but I am much more impressed with your story and the end results. An early death is absolutely heartbreaking; not many people can retain the presence of mind to do such a wonderful thing for so many. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may you be blessed the rest of your life for making such a difference.

What a wonderful, thoughtful person you are to do this for your friend & her DD! See? Angels do walk among us! They're generous quilters like you!
