Default My first or my second?

In September I started a King Size Quilt, still under construction. But I had some fabric I was wanting to use and I was fascinated by the D9P. So I put the king size on hold and put together this quilt for my father's "fiance." It is just a small lap size. So I it's not the first one I started. But it is the first one I finish. Once I finish it! I don't have time before Christmas to quilt it, so I will just tie it.

Thank you Sylvia. I'm really nervous about it. I'm not a seamstress at all. At first, even getting the machine threaded correctly was a challenge. This one has lots of "issues" with some crooked seams and points not lined up just right. But the woman I am giving it to will be very understanding. She has been supportive of me trying to learn. I have so many ideas in my head and patterns in my to-do book; but it will take a long time for me to attempt most of them.

You did a great job and I love the colors too. Don't worry we all have issues with our quilts.
Just have fun!

It's a beautiful quilt! So feminine. Your fabrics are wonderful, and the colors are so happy.
