This is actually my 2nd quilt, but the first one is still waiting to go to longarm shop. This one I made smaller and did QAYG only doing it 1/2 at a time instead of one square at a time. I did FMQ on the squares and tried to do SID on the outside borders but that was a mild disaster so I ripped it out and am leaving it alone. I'm really proud of it and just wanted to share.
I started on my next one- it is a scrappy of "square in a square". I've been begging my sewing friends for their scraps so am going to put them to good use.
Thanks for all the great tips on here and the tutorials. I've been "listening" and learning. This quilt has some boo-boos but hopefully only I will see them. :-)))

Very nice. Love the colors. When you did QAYG, did you run the seam
vertically or horizontally? I'd like to try one someday.

I ran it vertically. This next one I'm starting, I'll do the same- vertically, but I'm going to do it in smaller strips, maybe 1/4 at a time rather than half. The half was still pretty bulky.
