This is called "Beach Cottages" by Piece by Number/Bottle Quilt Design. I just finished the top today. The back will be a sand print. I'm still deciding how to quilt it. I'm a newbie at the FMQ, but comfortable with the walking foot and decorative stitching. I'm going to do a mix of each I think. I was hoping to complete by New Year's eve for a wedding gift, but life got in the way and I didn't finish on time. I don't want to rush the quilting part, so I apologized for the delay and told them it should be ready in a couple of weeks.

I'm very pleased with how it came out. I've never had one come out this square before and not have to tidy it up a bit! LOL I do plan to do more paper piecing, but have some other projects to do first.

Thanks for looking!

Love it! You did great!! They remind me of the "Maui huts" and cabanas of beach areas - oh, let's get the hula skirts out now and have a ball! We're all ready for the beach after seeing that!! lol. :D :D
