This is the first attempt at quilting. I help my 12 year old grandson with his
school project. The wall hanging is Underground Railroad. Several mistakes, although I do not point them to those looking at our project.

Very nice. I hope your grandson knows the meaning behind the quilt. The individual blocks are a map to the next station on the railroad.

Thanks to all comments. Yes, he does know the meaning of each block. We wanted to make more, but since this was the first I didn't have the courage to make more. It took me several weekends to get this one done. He helped sew, and cut out the blocks.
