I just joined last week and thought I'd show you my first quilt. It took me 2 years, but, its' done! Also, I made a bow tuck purse from a kit with pattern that I ordered from Connecting Threads. Thanks to the pictures here, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I wonder if someone would tell me the sizes to cut for a mini purse. I hate to buy another pattern just to get the sizes. I'm terrible with reducing, so don't want to try to reduce the full-size pattern. Is is OK to just "guess"?

Welcome,
love both projects. love the colors. welcome to the site.
I just started making pocketbooks and just used one I had
and traced its' pieces. Actually, it turned out pretty good. I
had right many compliments on it. Don't know how to use
the photo system on site yet or I would show you. I would say just reduce by however many inches you want to decrease.
