I just finished my first ever quilt last night :)

I started it January this year and started out hand piecing it. However, I got a sewing machine a few months later and decided to finish it off by machine.

I tried out some FMQ on it - definitely need a ton more practice at it, but I think it looks not too bad from a distance :)

Just need to wait for a nice day to get it washed and dried now - hoping it'll hold up ok when I do that!

You did a wonderful job! This is your first quilt? If so, then I cannot wait to see what you will create next. Good for you for trying FMQ...you did a great job on it, too!

That is great and only your first one. You did good!!
Your quilting is very good also. You will not need much practice. It looks like you have it down pretty good.
