Very nice quilt!
My 1st quilt was similar and I did a cross hatching stitch. It was easier than I thought it would be.

Beautiful, you look like a natural talented quilter. I made one and just did a large stipple. That is how I usually quilt all my quilts. I love the look and I doing it.

What a great quilt to do for your first one, and you certainly have done a terrific job! Keep up the good work!

Beautiful quilt; great job. Love the d9p pattern and have done a few; one of my favorites. Great colors too.
No suggestions on the quilting; I only do loops and meandering so I am pretty satisfied with those. It will
look great no matter.

thank you I was kinda thinking the same thing I do have a walking foot ( never have tried to use it yet) I think I will practice on something else first.

I will have to look that up what is echo quilting?

Nice quilt. Love the colors. For a first quilt you might want to do just a simple cross hatch. Too much time and difficulty may crush your love of quilting. Maybe you are up to the challenge of free motion. I just cannot get the hang of it and admire those that do such a beautiful job of it. Good luck either way.

What a great job you did! Since its your first quilt, I doubt you know how to FMQ, so I'd tie it (be sure and tie close together following the instructions from the batting and learn how to do a square knot by googling it) or stitch in the ditch. Can't wait to see what you do next!
