This is a quilt I pieced about 3 years ago when I first started quilting so i thought it appropriate it be the first one on my LAl. Boy, have I learned a lot since then. It is actually pretty square, I only had about 1/2 inch difference in width between the top and bottom.

Mhy tension wasn't always perfect, but like I told my hubby, I'm not going for perfection, I am trying to learn and figure it out. I actually embrace my imperfections because 6 months or a year from now, I will be saying how much I've learned since this one. My daughter told me what to put in the star squares. i wanted to echo the inside and leave them a little puffy, but she is kinda bossy sometimes. :)

There are 5 pics.

Now I just have to put binding on it and get another one loaded! :)
