That's beautiful.

The purple border sounds good and then maybe use a pink binding?

If you don't like to "meander", quilt in the ditch would also look great!!

And you're not going to mess it up now

It's beautiful! I would use one of the colors in the quilt for the border. As for quilting, you could stitch in the ditch around the blocks or meander.

So cute! I'm a sucker for reproduction fabrics AND scrap quilts. I think any border treatment you choose will frame everything nicely. Good luck with your quilting!

How pretty!! It's fun to look at all the different patches in there. :D I think any of the colors will make a great border. If you're worried about goofing the quilting up (a constant fear with me!), do you want to have a long arm quilter do it? That's my favorite option because I hate the sandwiching part. Or else keep it simple. Maybe go on the diagonal?

Good luck!! Thanks for sharing your project!

I'm terribly with colors, so I won't make any suggestions :D :D I love 30's repos though. Its really pretty. I know how you feel when you say you're scared to do anything for fear you'll screw it up..me too!! But trust yourself, you've done a terrific job so far, and the grandbaby will love the quilt and you no matter what!! You go Granny!!!
