Mouse sent me my first birthday block and I was floored! Look at the handwork - I am just thrilled!

Beautiful!! Is that called an origami flower? It looks like one. I have a
pattern where you put those flowers all over the top. Someday I'll figure out just how to make those and do a quilt. My friend makes the oragami swans. I got a pattern book to make them out of wash clothes but I think it's too hard with thick clothes. Guess they put them in your rooms on the cruise ships. The pattern I have came off of HGTV, Alex Anderson's site, Simply Quilts.
