This is the first project i have ever finished (wohoo) yes it is very small... is it even a quilt? that is up for debate. I started quilting about a month ago because my mother in law in passing said she would like a quilt, so i decided to make her one for Christmas. A little ambitious, i know. So since then, i have been cutting fabric, and working on piecing the top. Man, its allot of work, and really, not that rewording at this point because it isn't coming together as fast as i might like with all the hiccups I'm having along the way (thank you quilting board for all the help in fixing these!). I decided i needed to do something small, and have it be FINISHED so that i know that what I'm working on will be worth it. Thank you big sister for having an October birthday. She and i both love to cook, so the obvious answer was to make her a pot holder. I love it, and i am excited again to continue to work the mother-in-laws quilt!

Its lovely no matter what the size, and you will get a buzz like that every time you finish something cos its all made by you. Welcome to the QB where everyone else understands just how you feel!!
