I think you did great. You tackled cutting, sewing it together. You lined up your individual smaller strips to meet up nicely, good usage of colors and on top of it you had fun.I'd say you succeeded perfectly on a first quilt.Having fun is the true goal no matter the number of the quilt being made.Hope you branch on out to number two of your quilting journey very soon. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. The colors go so well because it was a jelly roll. I did however pick out the boarder colors. The pattern is now at all like the tutorial I was following. it was suppose to turn out like this. http://fatquartershop.blogspot.com/2...t-pattern.html but I cute one block wrong...altering the whole quilt design , and I didn't have more fabric to do it over

The overall sewing really came out nicely. I've completed one other quilt, But I was having a hard time uploading it. The sewing wasn't as nice, some puckering...I think I was rushing more. but the design and color was great. I' addicted for sure. On to quilt 3.

It's very nice and I think you mentioning you had fun is the most impotprtant! You enjoying your craft is more important than perfection! Keep having funM
