This is my very first quilt. I call it Travelling Footballs. I gave it to my brother 3 years late. It's called that b/c he goes to all the World Cups and Euro Cups that he can - he's there now. it's a flannel/denim rag quilt. The rags ended up being only a quarter inch. I bound it - binding through only two layers I found difficult so I need more practice on that and on mitring the binding. Oh, and on lining up the squares - not all are connected right. And I learned the benefits of prewashing - this one was washed after it was all done and it's a bit puckered and the denim ran a bit.

He loved it - I gave it to him on May 2. I have another one in mind for him already - he's a musician so it'll be a bargello pattern with a music theme... that one will be better.

DreamXer, it's fabulous! I don't see any problems with those corners either. Don't forget the 35 mph rule - hang it on the porch & drive by at 35 mph - if you can't see the problem then....there's NO PROBLEM, only "design choices" and "artist's perogatives"! :D :D :D

Well done...you didnt make it easy for yourself working with denim on your first quilt....I bet it made your fingers painful, stitching the binding on, this is a fantastic first quilt, its great :D :D
