I've been sewing all my life, but recently have decided to take up quilting (I guess I figure I don't have enough unfinished garment and knitting projects laying around my house... ).

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and share some pictures of my first quilt. It is a Quilts for Kids quilt and it is ready to send back. I thought it was a good way to practice and pay it forward a little bit. I'm going to do one more Q4K quilt and then work on some projects for me! Can you tell, I'm obsessed already?

Hi! You did an awesome job of quilting this. I just wish my practice looked half as good as your does.

Great job and let me tell you it does not take much to get hooked on making quilts! I want to do everything I see. Of course that is not possible but one can wish!!!

Welcome from Chattanooga... you did a great job! As a new quilter myself, I just signed up for Quilts for Kids and hope to do some, including preemies, for one of our local hospitals. This is one of the major reasons I want to quilt.
