I just realized that I hadn't posted a picture of the quilt I made with the help of Cutebuns. Without Colleen's help, it would never have gotten finished. It was made for a third-grader in the Chicago area. Quilters for Comfort had sent out an appeal for people to make quilts for a project they were undertaking to make quilts for third-graders at two schools. Foolishly I signed up and then thought, "What have I just done. I've never made a quilt before!" Now, with the help of my younger quilting mentor, I can say that I have.

Great job. I'm sure the child that gets it will be very happy. How brave you were to take on such a project as your first quilt, but you did a very good job. You must have a great feeling of satisfaction.
