This is my first attempt at quilting. It took me the best part of 12 months to complete. I had help from the ladies at my quilting group. It is a quilt as you go. The second is made of silks from Hoi An in Vietnam.

    Stunning!

Those silks are shimmering and look so luxurious, and the LogCabin/applique on the other quilt is fabulous.

You're certainly off to an amazing start in your quilting!!

    Welcome to the board.

Looking forward to seeing your next creation.

Oh, that makes the bedroom so bright and cheery. It just shines! The log cabin is also lovely. Keep them coming!

Now this is not fair. These are your first quilts? You surely must have lots of sewing experience or you are very artistic. They are beautiful, especially the Log Cabin/Applique quilt.

Thank you so much. It will be a while before I take on anything so big. We are expecting a new grandchild so I am into baby things now
