This quilt is stunning. I love the scalloped edges.

Update: at the silent auction this was made for there were several other quilts donated, so despite my daughter starting the bidding, I ended up paying to bring this baby home (my daughter will eventually get it anyway!). Don't know about you all, but I've developed a real aversion to letting my quilts go in auctions for anything less than the materials! Anyway that was last week, this week was the county fair and despite not being super impressed with my binding job I went ahead and entered. It brought home a white! Frankly I was surprised it ribboned at all after seeing the competition. (my baby quilt brought home a blue)

But the best news! The little girl the benefit was for is now able to sit up on her own without any support! And even when she wobbles, she's strong enough to right herself! This has just started happening this week--hopefully it's the start of a long line of progress.
