Hi I thought I would post a pic of my first Sunbonnet Sue block. The colour is a little off, the background is actually white but you sort of get the idea

Very cute. Are you going to work this into a quilt with others?

How cute your sunbonnetsue is! I just love that little muse.

She is so darling who could resist? LoL! I think the hardest thing is to find fabrics with small enough flowers/patterns on it to make it look right. Are you going to make a quilt or ??? My favorite is the little english lady ones. She has her hair in ringlets. I guess because my mom used to do that to my hair when I was little. (Shirley Temple style)

Keep up the good work. Your hand work is great!

Thank you all so much, you're very kind :)
This block is for a swap on another forum, we all had to make a favourite block and I chose this one, the theme was 30's repros.
However I do have a grandaughter who might like a Sunbonnet Sue quilt :)
