So, this was my second quilt. It is a queen size. I found this material at Wal-mart and really liked the pattern so I bought enough to sew it together and tie it. I know it's cheating..haha but it's still a quilt. This was the first time I had tied a quilt. I might go back and add a few knots. I was thrilled though. lol. I just realized I didn't show the binding in the picture, it is a chocolate color, it makes the colors stand out very nicely.

Love all the plaids! Great use of lights and darks too! I like a tied quilt, it's not cheating, just a different technique!

Your quilt is very pretty Heather. I tie most of all my quilts, and no i don't feel like we are cheating by tying them. I'm just learning to quilt by hand. I think you did a great job!!!!!!
