Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I decided to give it a try, it's going on a purse I am making.
Enjoy!

Wonderful! I hope you'll post a picture of the purse when finished.
Since I gain weight reading cookbooks, why can't I lose weight watching a fitness program?
Nice job!!!

Thank you both.
I will definitely post a photo of the finished purse. I have been sewing on it in between working on a few quilts. I am glue basting them, there are 4 I am working on. I am doing them all in stages...I get all the tops done, work on the backing, sandwich and baste them. Then sit down for a few days of quilting them together. And probably a week of hand-sewing the binding on all of them.

You did a fine job, especially for your first. I also love your quotes at the bottom of your page.
Lookin' good!
Thank you Ladies.
Perhaps one day I will get enough courage to add some applique' to a quilt or two.

Was it easier than you thought it would be? I've only done needle-turn applique because I can hide a lot of errors that way, so I'm glad you posted your photo. Maybe I could do it too.
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.
