Default My first try at a mini quilt

This is my first try at a miniature quilt. There is a local show with a category for quilts under 35cm (which is around 13 3/4") so I decided to give it a go. I saw a similar pattern somewhere on the internet which gave me the idea to try this in EQ7, this quilt is 13 1/2" square and has 444 pieces. (yes I must be crazy) I paper pieced it and just quilted in the ditch around each of the white and blue parts with MonoPoly thread (thanks to Snipforfun for the tip)

That is absolutely stunning - well done. Good luck in the show - is that the one at Braidwood?
