I have been on the board long enough to know that at least one of these corners on the triangle won't line up correctly, but I am just so proud that I finally tried and completed a real quilt block. Up to this point it has only been blocks and strips. I just had to post becuase although my DH and DD say oohh good job, they don't really appreciate it the way you all do.

Remember your very first block? Lucky for me, I am able to post it and always be able to look back.

I am going to try and do Moonlight Dancers from Planet Patchwork. This was my first trial block and not the colors I want to use, but the contract still came through pretty well. The real one will use purple instead of red.

I think I am finally ready to try and tackle it.

Thanks for looking and sharing in my most recent victory! :)

You did a WONDERFUL job. Your points match up perfectly. Nice color choice too. Very striking.

Truly a wonderfull job!
You MUST put it in a frame and hang it on the wall!!
(Then on days when nothing is going right--
you can always look up and say
'Yes I can, Yes I can'!!!)
:P :-P :P :-P :P :-P

Fantastic job on my favorite block. I think you should frame it also....but think you should quilt it first. Just another little learning experience.
