My DDIL requested a quick quilt for her mother who is currently hospitalized (she thinks she is in a 2nd rate hotel at the beach) for an as yet undiagnosed illness. So here it is. The backing is fleece, front is all flannel. I used entirely from my stash including thread. I quilted it on my long arm that I am still learning to use. Never quilted on fleece with it before so I thought it came out pretty good considering. Oh, and I started it yesterday morning, cutting 40 2 1/2" strips with my June Tailor strip cutting ruler.

It's really a wonderful quilt and such a nice thing you did for your DDIL and her mother.

Ummy, yummy quilt to snuggle in. Love the squares thrown in with the strips. The recipient may not be aware of the process - but will certainly enjoy the result. Fabulous!
