I have spent the last two hours sewing this friendship star and adding more to it. I had to redo it like twice. Now I am trying to figure out what fabric to use for strips along the sides.

I like the yellow - are you sashing this to go with other blocks, or as a small stand alone?

Thank you Celeste. I hand sewed everything but the outer edge. The light blue edges I machine sewed. I spent two hrs and 35 minutes sewing it by hand. I said enough is enough and took it over to the sewing machine...LOL :)
