i have one just like it! tho my case disinigrated. my great aunt gave it to me when i was 8 and i've kept it. sears still carries parts for it. just ordered a new power cord/pedle. they sew great. i sewed on mine until i bought a new machine with my first paycheck. i still sewed denim on it tho. and i would use my mom's machine to make my buttonholes and stuff. you can get parts for it from sears and pm me if you need a manual for it.

I hit our Goodwill 1 time maybe 2 times a week.....Made the comment to one of the workers there about coming so often since I retired. She told me that there are many people that come in every day and some that come in multiple times a day! I suppose they are resellers and I will bet they scoop up the good deals.

Congratulations on such a great find. I love it when someone rescues a treasure and gets a bargin. We all deserve that once in a while.

Wow! That is a good find! Isn't it funny how different Goodwills/Salvation Army Stores are so different in different cities and in different parts of the country? I like the Goodwill in a nearby city far better than the one here. It is amazing how different they are. It is a good thing that I go there (to the nearby city) at least once a week.
