My granddaughter, Avianna, came over Sunday and we solved a "is this my glass?" issue that always comes up when she and her 5 siblings are at my house. We made cup sleeves, with everyone's initials, and she picked the fabric and sewed them all herself.

We set up the cups in age order - because we love what their initials spell! JAILED

We should have fused the initials on after sewing, they are kinda low - oh well!

Congrats to both of you! What a cute idea---------and practical in addition to identifying the owner!

That is such a cute idea. And a great job on your dgd part!!! She must have a very good teacher. And such a darling child. You must be very proud of her and the awesome work is capable of doing.

Great way to spend a day, Grandma ! Wish I lived closer to my grandchildren so we could spend a "sewing" day.
