Default My grandson's handprints-Zentangled

The name of this quilt is "Coop Entangled" It was a birthday gift for my son and I finished it yesterday. Just a month and a few days after his birthday. I copied Coopers hands on the copy machine, traced them to the center of the fabric and did some Tangle designs in them. The background is lots of black and white prints which are bordered with a fusible black bias. The design behind Coopers hands is another Tangle design. I printed a grid of dots with a fabric marker and then connected the dots by quilting with black thread. This was fun to do and my son and his wife love it!!

breezyquilts, this is just so beautiful. Love how you did the hands and the fabrics you chose look like tangle patterns too. Love how you did that netting pattern behind the hands as well Did you tangle the hands with a fabric pen or is it free motion sewing? Good work! I just love to tangle too both on paper and fabric.

Hi Mrs B, I did tangle the hands with a fabric pen. Once the hands were all done, I did go around them with thread and did a tiny bit of quilting along the lines of his hands!! I am just learning the tangle art and it is so much fun!!

Yes, yes, & more yes! I'm not familiar with tangling (except in my hair -- LOL!) but I LOVE this quilt! Wow!

I love this. It is so very interesting and amazing. I know nothing about tangling but will be looking it up. You did a great job!
