Default My hand embroidered square in my baby mat/comforter

The pink printed blocks that alternate are of little pink kitties. Piecing, and quilting was all done by hand.
I made this for a nurse friend of mine.

Have one block with an elephant, one with a kitty, one with a baby in the clouds sleeping.
I never could get a good picture of my whole mat/comforter. My camera kept giving me the fits. lol...

The quilt is not huge, but just a 36"by 36" plus binding. A white backing.

Thanks for looking.

The colors are baby pinks, but it still does not show the color it really is. The hand embroidery is a deep pretty rose pink.

Thank you!

Here is a picture of the kitty block.

All I have left to do is quilting across the white squares.
My batting is the higher loft so I think the quilting on the white squares around the embroidery will really pop.

I really love this quote, JuneBillie. I have so many days I feel like this lately. It brought a smile to my heart. Thank you. Your embroidery is very pretty.
