Since I finished my 9 patch I needed another hand quilting project. I considered finishing an UFO but I am not ready for that. As I was pondering the answer came to me. Literally, in the mail. My friend Ducky sent me a gift of Moda Charm packs and a pattern for their use. I then RAN to the sewing room and created this beauty. It matches my living room perfectly. How she knew that I have no idea. Thank you so much Ducky!!! I hope to have this done by time my brother gets here next month. We will see. Wish me luck!!!

BTW how do you think I should quilt it??

Well, that is just beautiful. And that Ducky is one smart duck! And nice, too! I love the pattern, I did a lap quilt in that same pattern which will be a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. I really like the way it turned out, and yours looks just great.

That's a great way to use charms. Thanks for the idea and by the way - love the quilt! Ducky picks out nice colors and you do nice work.

Great pattern, and love that pattern. I would probably do 1/4 in in on the stars and then a pretty flower in the squares!

I really like that K! And that Ducky is just too loverly for words! As to the quilting, I'm with Ninnie on the echo of the stars and a motif - maybe a flower or maybe a star? in the 4 patches. :D
