I originally made this quilt for my husband ( 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Italian)....but we found his sister-in-law has uterine cancer.....and after surgery, biopsy showed cancer had spread to her lymph nodes......I still work full time, and quilt slowly,....did not want to take the time to make her one fro scratch, so DH generously agreed we could give her this one, and I could make him another......This was quilted by Nancine Pike of Purcelville, VA using 4 different Celtic knot patterns. I still have to put on the binding...but that will get done next week. How do you like this one?

Beautiful quilt from every aspect possible. You and your husband will be so blessed for putting the sister-in-law first for this. Love the Celtic quilting.
