Nice wall hanging for your SIL. I like your designs and impressed that you saw embroidery opportunity in an applique pattern. You did the redwork stype and it looks great.

I love embroidery incorporated into quilts, and I also find that appliqué patterns can also serve as embroidery patterns. Nice job!

I embroidered those same flowers on a quilt I made several years. It is now an UFO.....looks like it is time to finish it up.
