I was thinking about doing this to my office chair that I got on free cycle as the fabric is very worn and shiney. Not sure what they did to it but it looks like it is melted.

I was also wondering if you took the cushions off to do it like reupholster or made like slip covers?

I was wondering, my office chair has a big plastic back ... how do I get that off so I can recover the front???
