One of my managers at work decided to announce 2 weeks ago that she was retiring in 2 weeks. God can't these people give better notice!! LOL I Anyway her is my version of Eleanor Burns Jewel Box Quilt and since you can't see it up close, you won't see the mistakes lol I gave it to her at the dinner last night and she said she loved it so I hope she did :)

How could she NOT love it? It's is lovely.

BTW, all of us have errors in our quilts. I have been to the traveling shows of the APQS. I was able to look at them closely. Their work is marvelous, but it has errors too. You, like the rest of us are a fallible human. Don't belittle your work.

What a beauty! It looks great in batiks. I've seen it in other fabrics, but like the batiks the best. Thanks for sharing.

I was zooming in on this to try to figure out how you did the parts in white. I didn't get it. Any chance of showing it closer? Wicked pretty quilt!! Thanks for sharing!

One of my favorite patterns. I really like how you have done it - both colors and batiks. I am sure she does as well.
