Who remembers the UFO challege? That we would complete a UFO by Jan.? Well this was the last quilt I set for myself on the UFO challenge, and like I said then I wanted it done by Christmas so I could give it as a gift. Here's the link http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/11034.page
As you can see it is double sided, with no one side being more the "top" than the other. In then end I did a radiant diamond to quilt both together. Radianting from the center of both.
I've posted photos of bits and pieces of this thing, from the hand turned applique rose basket, to the white on white embroidery, and the near screw up on the rosebud blocks, or the month of pattern planning. Anyway when it's all said and done it's done.
The heart fabric I used for the lattice and the binding was proceeds go to breast cancer research so I even did a good thing while I was working on this one. :)

Seriously Chele, I'd take them all, Part of me marvels at what we set aside. That red star quilt is the perfect example. I set it down because I had to recut some of my triangles and I don't like cutting. But just an hour or so of cutting and I was running with it again. Okay limping, but still the best I get. :D
Oh and for the record this one was set aside a handful of times because I didn't know where to go with it to get them the SAME DARNED SIZE!  Not to mention how to quilt them so it didn't look stupid or worse yet ruin the embroidery.

Wow! great job!! Good for you getting some UFO's done too. I got a couple of mine done, but still have several more to work on, guess it will be next year. I do have the one for my son almost completed. I only have a little quilting left and then the binding.
Looks Beautiful!!!!
