This is a quilt that was made for Carol Doak to celebrate her having taught in all 50 states. It was made using her 50 state stars book by 50 US members, and then hearts by other members from other countries.
It is amazing to see how we each interpret our states star! I did the star that is on the 2nd from of stars from the bottom, 3rd star in from the right..it is the Alaska star since that is where I lived when I took my first class with Carol.
