So I have a big bag of scraps. It gets bigger by the week. I have seen and admired the crumb blocks shown here, so I decide to get creative and make some. The snippets are everywhere, making as big a mess as PP does. Well, my wonderful kind (but honest) husband says that they look spazzy, and I'll probably only give it to someone I don't like. But who would give a quilt to someone you don't like, considering the work involved. But, I think I'll continue, just to show him that it turns out well. Even ugly quilts will be warm when they are turned upside down, or in the dark!

They are cut to 6 1/2" unfinished.

Looks like fun. I have seen some put together that end up looking really nice!!! Don't give up yet. At a minimum, if you don't really like it after all said and done, donate it to a childrens home or something!!

To me, crumb blocks (I know them as crazy blocks) ARE supposed to be spazzy. I like how you separated them by colors. Yeah, keep going and get it together. I bet you'll like it.

Tell him they're not spazzy - they are unique. And, in my opinion, really nice. I think they'll be great when you get them all together. And JimsGem is right. If you think you don't like it when it's done, some child will certainly love a colorful quilt.

Once they're all put together, they'll look very artistic. Then who will be sitting there with their foot in mouth?
