Well, it's beautiful, even if you know about a few flaws (no one else will ever notice). I'm glad you posted about the problems, though--it encouraging to see other make a couple mistakes and keep going with something instead of just putting it on the back burner (something I'm a little guilty of).

What is the powder you mentioned?

Very pretty and welcome to the Midwest. I love in Mass. now but grew up in SD, before moving to NE, then NH and now MA. I still miss the midwest - the people there are always friendly.

Suggestiion.
Make a nice Label with all the information
and place it in the corner over the hole
That is the perfect place .

Love it, and I also have a log cabin started, probably from 2009. It is a QAYG, and I hope to SOON be able to post it finished too, lol. Good job!
