My mother started this quilt about 40 yrs ago. I changed out the center square and the border to the rose color rather than the turquois she had picked. It just looked better. She had ripped the fabric.......I pieced it and quilted it on my mid-arm....

on edit: I forgot to mention --- she SWORE it was a queen size, but I could only find enough for FULL size...WELL, after it was on the machine, I found some strips down behind my cutting table!!!! SSSSSHHHH don't tell her!
