I didn't know what I had until today. My MIL said it was just an old machine, its been sitting in the garage for the last few years. She said her MIL gave it to her years ago and she was going to sell it or she would just give it to me. I missed out on my grandmothers (one of my cousins got it and it is now gone, torn apart and who knows what happened to it). I think I will call her Lily dob May 11, 1954 according to the serial #

What a great gift. My mom's looked like that, I wish I had it. I don't know what ever happened to it. She passed in 1967 and things went many ways.

Happy for you! I have my grandmother's from 1937. It looks pretty much the same as yours, even the cabinet! Enjoy!!

Same as my moms. She will not sew on anything but that machine. I gave her another one but she refuses to use it. Maybe one day she will give it to me.

Looks like the one on which I learned to sew in 1957! Got traded on a slant needle in mid 60's.
