Inquiring minds want to know what kind of EM you have, what type thread did you use, how long did this take you to make?

What a beautiful keepsake.

All the designs are Anita Goodesigns except the girafe, elephant, zebra & panda. They are Dakota. I used Maderia thread. All are 5 x7 design size. Most of them have more than 20,000 stitches so each one takes almost 1 to 2 hours to stitch. Have a Babylock Elleago machine. I started working on it in Sept but couldn't get the African Animals CD (Anita Goodesigns) it was backordered so it threw me behind so I had to make up for lost time & really hussle to finish. One CD is called Big Cats & the other is African Animals. The Dakota designs I bought individually on one of those special days they have. The girafe did sell for $50.00 & zebra was $35.00 but got a good deal. I started on my old Babylock Ellure Plus but finished on the Elleago. Both did a wonderful job. When I hung it up to take picture the boys said mom you should hang it on the wall. Would make a nice wall hanging. Thanks for all your praise.
