This is the finished top of the lap quilt I made for my mom. The colors I might not have chosen for myself, but they are colors that will go in her living room. My next question is, how should I quilt this? I would like to do something in the middle squares (maybe hand quilt something) since it has a pattern, any ideas of a design that would show up?

Wonderful quilt. I'm sure your Mom will love it.

I'd do cross-hatching, including the borders in the cross hatch design.

Hi Tarib,

I think a design in the middle squares would be great. Perhaps a contrasting thread colour. I don't know if this pattern would be suitable shape or size wise but something along those lines would be nice.
Stipple or something similar in the border as well would be good.

That is a very pretty quilt. I bet she is going to love it. I did one in that pattern and did a Celtic kind of Mendelian in the middle.
