What a wonderful gift for your mom and her 80th birthday! It is a beautiful quilt. I remember when it came out in the McCalls magazine, I actually cut out the patterns and saved them for one of those "someday" projects. I know it was a lot of work but whom else would you want to spend all that time on, but mom? Your work on this quilt is stunning and I am sure it will be a family treasure.
